Meet the lovely Katie Murphy! Katie is the lab’s operations whiz and she also makes a mean dark chocolate & tamari almond bark. Check out our q+a with her below:
1.Tell us about yourself.
I am a Calgary native and moved to Vancouver almost 4 years ago! I am super passionate about healthy, yummy food, and being active outside. You can also count me in for a glass of red wine anytime!
2.What is your role at the lab?
I’m the people person! My role is largely involving training, people and operations management.
3.What is on your fall/winter wish list this year?
A new pair of leather boots!
4.What is the biggest risk you have taken?
At 27 picking up, packing my car and moving to Vancouver, no job but lots of faith!
5.What is something you are doing outside of work that you are passionate about?
Inventing amazing food recipes and hosting/cooking for others.
6.What is your next BHAG (big hairy audacious goal)?
Completing my cookbook!
7. What is something in the city you are most excited to experience/do/try?
The Japanese class at The Dirty Apron.

Cooking, wine in hand, chilling with my fave ladies.
